“Go & draw a circle around yourself, then pray fervently that God starts revival within that circle.”
March 8, 2021- The first Vine Revival prayer meeting:
Four women gathered together to pray on the streets of Sumner, WA. They prayed over 2 hours for a vision of revival to plant in the small city, then grow.
Our Story
In the winter of 2021, Tia Roberts felt God’s call to gather a prayer group in Sumner, Washington. On March 8, at 7 AM in 28-degree weather, four women met on the streets to pray for revival in their city.
That small group became The Vine Revival, inspired by John 15:5: “I am the vine; you are the branches.” Every Monday at 6 AM since then, faithful hearts have continued to seek God’s presence and direction together.
Their dream of a citywide revival came to life on August 11, 2024, when 2,300 people from 26 churches gathered at Sunset Stadium. With 150 volunteers, the day overflowed with worship, prayer, testimonies, dance, baptisms, and the powerful presence of God. Lives were changed, and His faithfulness was on full display.
The second Vine Revival, held August 16, 2025, carried that same spirit. Souls were renewed, hearts united, and Jesus was lifted high.
What began with a handful of women in the cold is now a growing movement of churches praying together for revival across our community.
Monthly prayer events focus on uniting the body of Christ through prayer across churches.
